#JusticeForUwa: "Unless those beasts confess, they shall have no peace "- Revelation

Nigerian spoken word poet and writer, Revelation has aired out his view on the brutal murder of 22 year old Vera Uwaila Omozuwa, who was gruesomely raped and killed in a Redeemed Christian Church of God in Benin, Edo State.

Vera Uwaila Omozuwa, a 100-level microbiology student of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) in Edo, was reportedly dead after she was raped inside a church in the state.

It was gathered that the incident happened on May 27, inside a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) near Ikpoba Hill in Benin.

Omozuwa was said to have gone into the place of worship to read in preparation for resumption of school after spending months at home due to the coronavirus pandemic.

While reading in the church, she was said to have been attacked and raped after which her head was smashed with a fire extinguisher which left her unconscious.

It was reported that the student was rushed to an intensive care unit of a hospital located at Omozuwa where she eventually breathed her last.

Speaking to Punstarent.blogspot. com, the Wordsmith said:

"It's indeed painful, and at the same time disheartening. No one would want to hear of things like this during this period. Honestly speaking, Uwa's death is painful...very painful. Words fail me to describe how painful her loss is, considering the circumstances that led to her death.

This is an indication that we're not secured even in our place of worship.
And until this area is fixed, i mean fixed..cases such as this will keep occurring.

" To those behind this dastardly act, I wouldn't have much to say... Unless those beasts confess, they shall have no peace! They just signed their death sentences by desecrating a sacred ground..unless they come out to the public and confess of their crime, peace shall elude them as long as they walk on the face of planet earth!"
